Last weekend I competed in the first ever IBJJF British Nationals. It was something I originally didn't plan to do but I was still in shape from worlds camp and decided why not? Signing up for both gi and no gi it was a lot of fun and I'm glad I competed! After a lot of very tough matches I was able to walk away with 4 gold medals for winning my weight and absolute (in both gi and no gi).
In this tournament I was able to utilize one of my favorite submissions, the DLR foot lock. This is something I first showed when I launched my site a year and half ago and something both myself and my students all use to this day.
